Let’s get a couple things out of the way first.

This post isn’t some reflexive, knee-jerk demand to never ever offer Troy Denning a contract again and throw him on the street. That’s not realistic, and that’s not fair to anyone. This post is something simpler and I think…

Wait-Silence of the Lambs ISN’T a romantic comedy? That changes how I read the book entirely.

Screw writing “strong” women. Write interesting women. Write well-rounded women. Write complicated women. Write a woman who kicks ass, write a woman who cowers in a corner. Write a woman who’s desperate for a husband. Write a woman who doesn’t need a man. Write women who cry, women who rant, women who are shy, women who don’t take no shit, women who need validation and women who don’t care what anybody thinks. THEY ARE ALL OKAY, and all those things could exist in THE SAME WOMAN. Women shouldn’t be valued because we are strong, or kick-ass, but because we are people. So don’t focus on writing characters who are strong. Write characters who are people.

Everyone always praises Han’s “I know” in ESB for being so cool or ~badass or whatever, but like… did those people actually watch ESB?

Because it’s PRETTY FUCKING CLEAR that the feelings in that relationship are WAY MORE INTENSE on Han’s side at the start. Oh there’s an

Some art I did of a friend for her Star Wars RP character. She lost an eye, which in my book, kinda makes her a badass.

Anita’s Divine Retribution
This the second panel from yesterday’s strip, without dialogue. Figured I would make a larger version of this, in case people wanted it. If there is any interest, I could make a wallpaper version too.

Here’s some art from Tavern Wenches for all of you to enjoy. Anita, being angry.

My thoughts on drive-in movie theaters. If you haven’t been to one and have the means, go.

Drive in Theaters are awesome.  True fact.

THIS WOMAN IS MY  NEW HERO.

HERO.

When the Internet gives you lemons, make lemonade.

This is such a righteous post that I am happy I stayed up late. I will probably still regret going to school on 5hrs of sleep, but then I’ll just think of this and not give a damn.

This is wonderful. Just saying.
